Since 1975, Bossier Council On Aging has provided services to seniors (over 60), of Bossier Parish that allow them to remain independent and to remain active in our communities. These seniors are a vital part of our extended family and provide a great deal of what is really the council-caring and loving. The success of the Council depends upon public confidence and support. As a quazi-government, private non-profit agency, we must comply with applicable local, state and federal laws. Bossier Council On Aging is a service provider. All of the employees are hands-on participants in the provision of services. Our philosophy is: "Senior citizens should live independently with dignity for as long as possible." Our agency helps our participants do this. We must be willing to listen to each one and treat them with respect.
