Comment: | As a member of the Adams Council on Aging and an active participant of the Chair Yoga class, I would like to express my disappointment with the lack of respect the instructor and participants of this program receive. Classes are quite regularly cancelled because of Adams Housing Authority (site of classes) meetings being held at the same time as our 9:00 A. M. classes on Tuesday and Thursday. It seems to me that members of the AHA could hold their meetings at 10:00 A.M. or on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday when they do not put out the 32 + regulars of the Chair Yoga class. Chair yoga is one of the best attended COA programs and its participants should feel valued. At this time we do not. |
