The people who run this place and the CNA's do not care about the patients and do not listen to the family members. They let the residents lay in soiled diapers and ignore the call lights, or come in, turn them off, say they will be right back. Most of the time it takes at least an hour for them to come back. The food is so crappy that most of the residents refuse to eat it. They serve chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes every single day. Half the beds are not remote controlled, they have the cranks at the foot of the bed. How is a bed ridden patient supposed to get up and crank their bed? The CNA's talk in their foreign language and you can tell they are fussing and talking about the residents. I have even heard one tell a resident to mind her own business. This CNA was in that residents room, gossiping with another CNA!! The resident was minding her own business in her own room! The resident needed to be changed, not listen to gossip from hiding CNA's! I won't go in to all the details about how many residents I know of dying there and how the strong overwhelming smell of death filled the halls while the residents were eating dinner. How long does a body have to lay there for the smell to get so bad you can smell it from the next hall over? If you can help it, please don't send your loved one here. We are praying for an opening to come up at another nursing home soon.
