About Morningstar At Applewood
MorningStar at Applewood offers the finest assisted living Lakewood seniors and their families can count on. Our high-end residential community offers 107 spacious apartments from studio to deluxe two-bedroom suites along with inviting common areas including a bistro, art and music rooms, theater, sunroom, peaceful walking paths and relaxing patio and covered porches. MorningStar’s Reflections Neighborhood provides memory care to those with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases, and is housed in two distinct, intimate neighborhoods with private suites and cozy common areas. Our community is located in a charming neighborhood just south of Golden and ten minutes from downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountain foothills. The Chester-Portsmouth Park and Maple Wood Reservoir are down the street as are various restaurants and shops. We are next to the I-70 and nearby medical facilities include the Centura St. Anthony Hospital. Each assisted living resident has a Personalized Service Plan created for them based on individualized needs with 24/7 care managers and access to licensed nurses, medication management and other third-party service providers. Our memory care philosophy and programming is based on our signature program, Lavender Sky, and includes Montessori-based therapies to elevate and celebrate life.
