About Brentwood Retirement Community

Brentwood is a specialty care assisted living facility. We are licensed by the Alabama Department of Public Health to care for residents with cognitive impairment. Residents with cognitive impairment are ineligible for admission to or continued stay in a regular assisted living facility. Brentwood responds to the need for a level of care for those with Alzheimer's Disease or other Dementia related disorders. Brentwood provides for the safety and security of those whose cognitive impairment requires care beyond a regular assisted living. Here at Brentwood, we have a licensed Nurse 24/7 directing care for each of our residents. Our facilities consists of two 16 bed buildings. We consider this a strength in that we are small and homelike. All residents rooms are spacious and private, with private baths. We have a vibrant activities program in place to ensure that our residents continue to be motivated and active. We serve three meals daily that are specifically made to cater to our residents' appetite. In addition, we have a scheduled snack and hydration program in place.
