This historic replica of Aurora’s first train depot is recreated in both location and architecture, and has a welcoming presence on Aurora’s Main Street. It is home to the Aurora Senior Citizens Club, as well as community events, including PumpkinFest, Annual Community Meeting and Holiday Heritage Festival. The Community Center served as the hub for Aurora’s Centennial, which was held in 2003. At that time, a Pioneer Monument and Memorial Brick patio were constructed to commemorate the event.
