The center is open five days a week and provides a warm, inviting, and safe atmosphere for men and women who are predominantly living alone. Mid-City Senior Center is the "Center" of these seniors’ lives. They receive assistance from a caring staff, trained to help them with problem solving and to make appropriate referrals for other needed services. We continue our advocacy program to further promote this cause for independence. Most important, they are treated with respect and kindness.
