The senior centers also provide health monitoring, social activities, cultural classes, speakers, elder wellness programs and group activities. Required application is available at any Chickasaw Nation Senior Center. If approved, participant can expect service immediately for congregate meals. An assessment will be completed for homebound meals for individuals living within a service area of a Chickasaw Nation senior center. The Chickasaw Nation considers its elders “living treasures” and works hard to provide for them the best service and care possible. The tribe remains devoted to the health and well-being of its elders by offering programs and services which are focused on all aspects of their lives.
