The primary objectives are to help the elderly reach their fullest potential; to make them aware of their rights under the law; to make the public aware of the frail elderly problem areas and to seek solutions to these problems; to insure a lifelong continuum with a focus on program participation and fostering maximum independence. The Bayonne Office on Aging is funded by the NJ Division on Aging, Older Americans Title III as amended through a grant from Hudson County Office on Aging, the City of Bayonne and Community Development Block Grants.
