Cynthia A. Phillips went to the Board of Trustees and explained that she could come up with a plan where the Township could run and operate the center. Along with Kimberly Bradley Reaves, Joanne Day and Paula Washington, they put a budget plan together and presented it to the Board of Trustees. The Pearl Wright Center & Fannie Adams Transportation has been operating in the black ever since.
