Myerberg Center has been helping active adults 55 and older in Baltimore, Maryland stay active, stay engaged, stay healthy, and stay connected. The Center first opened at a storefront location Reisterstown Road, and moved to its current expansive facility at 3101 Fallstaff Road. The building has expanded many times over the past 29 years, with new classrooms, a state-of-the-art fitness Center, a library, the Tech-Knowledge Hub and sun filled art rooms. The Myerberg Center is a true community Center, not only for the 800+ members who participate in 125 programs, classes and activities, but for the entire northwest Baltimore community. Local religious and civic organizations hold their weekly meetings at the Myerberg Center, and the Frosburg Room is a popular location for local families’ celebrations and milestone events. Always bustling with activities and people, the Center offers its members fascinating experience throughout the area. Members enjoy over 125 classes each year – in art, literature, current events, popular culture, technology, health and fitness, foreign language and religion. They enjoy each other’s camaraderie and friendship while attending festivals and museums. They gather for card games and billiards, or casual conversation over a fresh cup of coffee. The center also provides vital social services needed by many members of our community, including access to resources, counseling and support groups.
