During the slower summer months, you may experience limited gaming and programs. The Senior Citizens Center has several services to offer including transportation to medical facilities, shopping and appointments around town, and a Senior noon meal program including home delivery to eligible participants. On Tuesday & Thursday the Senior Citizens Bus will provide transportation for all participants needing to get to medical facilities in Arizona from young mothers with children to Senior Adults. Our bus leaves Needles at 9:00 a.m. and returns when the last person is picked up from their appointment. Cost is $5.00 round trip to Valley View Medical Center and $10.00 beyond that point and as far as Laughlin Bridge. Call the Needles Senior Center to schedule an appointment - 760-326-4789. Senior & Disabled Dial-a-Ride Service is available in Needles for transportation to go shopping, pay bills or go to any appointment within town. Just give us a call and we will pick you up at your location for $1.00 per boarding. This service is available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday excluding certain holidays. For those riding this service to the noon meal program, the trip home is free (you pay $1.00 to the center and no charge home)! Everyday the Senior Citizens Center offers a noon meal program for seniors 60+ for a small $3.00 donation. Those not eligible for the senior donation may also eat at the center for $8.50. These are home cooked meals and delicious - please join us! Monday & Thursday are B-I-N-G-O days beginning at 1:00 p.m. Note: Mondays are dark during the summer months.
