These services include, but are not limited to, nutrition programs, transportation, educational classes, health screenings, recreation programs, special events, excursions, and volunteer opportunities. The Senior Services Division is housed at the South El Monte Senior Center, which is a multipurpose center and a central access point for information and services to assist older adults (55+) in the community. The Senior Center is open to anyone 55 years of age or older; however certain activities and services have age restrictions. In addition to the services and programs offered at the Senior Center, seniors will enjoy the amenities it offers such as a fitness room, library room, pool room, various recreation rooms, and large dining hall.
