About Windham Senior Center

The Windham Senior Center, operating since October 2012, enriches the lives of Windham's adult community (ages 55 and older) by offering a variety of programming and services. It is the goal of the Windham Senior Center to provide access to social, nutritional, wellness and recreational opportunities in a supportive and accessible environment. We are open Monday through Friday so Seniors have the opportunity to stop in and visit throughout the day. Come in and have a cup of coffee or tea, spend time with friends, work on a puzzle and enjoy some games! Want to learn how to knit or crochet? Our weekly knitting and crocheting group will be happy to help you with your projects. Love to get out and about but don't want to drive anymore? Our excursions are very popular and increase with the warm weather! Trips can include visiting the Governor's Mansion, Harkness Memorial State Park and holiday shopping at the malls! Who doesn't like to try new restaurants? Our trusty van takes us to places like Capitan Scott's Lobster Dock, Cracker Barrel and the Golden Lamb Buttery. We are always looking for new places to go! Staying fit a priority? The Center also offers a variety of exercise programs for varied levels of activity. Tai Chi, Yoga, and Healthy Heart are very popular programs.
