About Harlem Senior Citizens Center

The Harlem Senior Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that advocates issues and offers support for the elderly. The objectives of the Center are: To implement, coordinate and sponsor activities that seniors enjoy; To bring elderly people together for social, recreational and nutritional activities; To provide referral services in the area of health, housing, finances, insurance, etc.; To participate in the utilization of the resources of knowledge and skills to the elderly in the community; To encourage involvement by all senior citizens to the extent possible, for those who normally have not been involved in organized activities regardless of social or economic background.
