To prevent isolation in their homes and encourage socialization, the participants come together daily. Participants enjoy activities such as Bingo, dominoes, daily devotion, Wii bowling, arts & crafts, field trips, speakers, and a monthly birthday party. They enjoy their time of fellowship, socializing, and sharing while learning new skills. The Coordinator and Assistant ensure that the participants daily exercise and have a healthy meal, while also monitoring their blood pressure weekly and weights monthly. Participants being served are from the communities of Mound Bayou, Merigold, Renova, Winstonville and Shelby.
