The Center is a recipient of the Florence R. Goldmann Distinguished Senior Center Award, presented by the Florida Association of Senior Centers. The Sunrise Senior Center offers a wide variety of leisure and educational programs, support groups, special events and trips. In addition, the Center's staff serves as a resource for the entire community - coordinating the City's transportation and social services programs. Website: Membership Information: You don't need to be a member in order to utilize the Senior Center's programs and facilities. However, members are entitled to special benefits, including: A member identification card; Monthly mailings of the Center's event calendar; Pre-registration opportunities for classes, trips and other programs; Reduced fees for select programs, classes and trips.
