The JFS { Freda Mohr Multipurpose Center provides comprehensive, innovative services to older adults and their caregivers in the Beverly-Fairfax community. The center’s convenient, storefront location on Fairfax Avenue provides a welcome gathering place for older adults. For those who are homebound, services can be provided in the home or by telephone. We offer a range of activities including computer instruction, educational presentations, field trips, holiday celebrations and even a Wii gaming system exercise class! Our professional staff also provides care management, family consultation, one-on-one counseling, support groups, information and referral, advocacy and other services as needed by the older adults in the community. Whether helping families face such challenges as loss of a spouse or dealing with declining health, the JFS { Freda Mohr Center remains a community leader in providing social, mental health, and recreational services. Also located at the Center is the JFS { Eichenbaum Health Center that offers a gym experience where older adults improve mobility, strength and balance and stay physically fit in a supportive environment.
